Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

1. About This Messaging Program

Book of Business AI provides appointment scheduling and an AI receptionist to local service businesses. When you book an appointment with one of those businesses, the text messages about that appointment are sent through Book of Business AI on the business's behalf. Every message names the business your appointment is with.

This program is transactional. We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party advertising over SMS, and we never send messages on behalf of anyone other than the business you contacted.

2. Messages You May Receive

• Confirmation that your appointment has been booked
• A reminder ahead of your appointment
• Updates if your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled
• Replies to messages you send us about your appointment

3. How You Opt In

We send text messages only to people who have asked us to. Consent is collected on a web form, through a checkbox that is unchecked by default and is never required in order to submit the form or to book an appointment. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

For each consent we record the exact wording shown, the version of that wording, the time, the page it was given on, and the originating IP address. We do not buy, rent, or exchange phone number lists, and we never message a number that has no consent record.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your own appointments — typically two to four messages per appointment. We do not send recurring messages on a schedule of our own.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Book of Business AI does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them according to your plan.

6. How to Stop Messages

Reply with any of these words at any time and we will stop texting you immediately:

STOP · STOPALL · UNSUBSCRIBE · CANCEL · END · QUIT

You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment or affect any other service.

To start receiving messages again, reply START or YES or UNSTOP.

7. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message and we will reply with the name of the business, what the number is used for, and how to opt out. You can also reach us at info@bookofbusiness.ai.

8. Carriers and Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your coverage, and we cannot guarantee that any individual message arrives.

9. Your Privacy

Mobile opt-in information and consent records are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the telecommunications providers required to deliver your messages, and with the business you booked the appointment with.
